CWS Appeal for Rohingya refugees

More than half a million Rohingyas have crossed the border from Myanmar into Bangladesh in the last six weeks in what the United Nations is now calling a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”. They join hundreds of thousands who have already fled. Those who have fled, those who have been left behind and the host communities in Bangladesh exist in precarious circumstances. The UN estimates that 1.2 million people now need support. This is a truly tragic situation that will only worsen.

Christian World Service has an appeal for Rohingya refugees that supports those who have arrived in Bangladesh and those still needing help in Myanmar. We encourage you to support CWS.
